Surprisingly there are only minor causality repercussions, mostly for the drums which have their desire to get noticed tempered or which take a wrong turn in the 80s never to reappear, leaving her layering more forward looking guitar & synth swathes to keep her disembodied, generational pleasing pop vocals company, or just to mesmerize on their own.
